This is your chance to join Paranormal Author, Researcher and GHW Owner Chad "The Ghost Hunter" Morin as he brings with him the his Ghost Hunt Weekends Crew for an evening of Presentations, Meet and Greets and a Lights-Out Ghost Hunt of this haunted and historical site. Ghost Hunt Weekends was the first to publicly investigate this beautiful location and now we are the first to offer two ticket options for this event including an Overnight Experience Package where you can actually stay the entire night inside the Nickerson-Snead House and have unlimited access to ghost hunt all night.
About the HOUSE
The Nickerson Snead House, located in Glade Spring, Virginia, is a historic site with a rich and eerie past. Originally built in the mid-1700s by Francis Kincannon, the house served as a fort during the Revolutionary War and the French and Indian War.
The current structure, an Antebellum home, was constructed around 1835 by Dr. Nickerson and Betsy Snead. During the Civil War, it functioned as a field hospital, and later as a private doctor's office even a one-time Lodge for Masons to meet in secret.

The house is renowned for its hauntings, with numerous reports of ghostly sightings and unexplained phenomena. Visitors have reported seeing apparitions, hearing disembodied voices, shadow figures and feeling sudden drops in temperature as well as ghostly hands touching and pulling on clothes and hair. The original log portion of the house, with its deep historical roots.
The Nickerson-Snead House has been a Ghost Hunt Weekends event location since 2018 and we are happy to offer overnight lodging for the first time now, this should give any fan of the paranormal a great evening.
